Credit card driver's licences

  • Free eye screening for your driver's licence. Everyone renewing their driver's licence must have their eyes screened. Instead of waiting in long queues, you can have your screening conducted free of charge by an optometrist. You'll receive an official certificate stating that you have had your vision screened by an optometrist. The certificate indicates the condition of your vision and will be accepted by the licensing departments.

Tax

  • Income tax. Tax forms, tables and guidelines downloadable in Adobe PDF format, as well as a number of useful tax guides - SA Revenue Service web site (click on "income tax" in left-hand menu bar)
  • Tax online. The SA Revenue Service's e-Filing initiative allows for the electronic submission of returns, and electronic payments, for the following mainly corporate taxes: VAT, PAYE, Skills Development Levies, Provisional Income Tax, UIF, and Diesel Refunds. E-Filing of personal income tax is not yet on offer. E-Filing is facilitated through selected private third-party service providers. These outside companies charge a fee, determined by the industry and not by Sars, for their services.
