Team SA set for Olympic assault
Team South Africa, made up of 131 athletes representing 19 codes, will fly the Rainbow Nation's flag at the Beijing Olympic Games from 8 to 25 August. The largest representation is shared by athletics and aquatics, both of which have 25 athletes.
SA women set for World title defence
South Africa has announced its three-member team to defend the bi-annual Espirito Santo Trophy in October at The Grange Golf Club in Adelaide, Australia. Team South Africa will be defending the trophy they won at the World Amateur Team Championships in 2006 on home ground.

Natalie du Toit: ability of mind
South African swimmer Natalie du Toit, whose left leg was amputated below the knee in 2001, has gone on to break numerous world records for athletes with disability. Her greatest achievement, however, has been bridging the gap between able-bodied and disabled athletes. In Beijing this month, she will become the first amputee to compete in the Olympic Games.
