SA reaffirms growth, job-friendly policies
South Africa remains committed to prudent economic policies supportive of growth and job creation, the National Treasury said following Fitch's revision of the outlook on the country's sovereign credit rating.

Amended empowerment Bill gazetted
Trade and Industry Minister Rob Davies has gazetted the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Amendment Bill, which aligns the various laws relating to black economic empowerment in South Africa, and makes offences such as "fronting" punishable by fines and prison sentences.
