SA, UK aim to double bilateral trade
South Africa plans to double its trade with the UK and become a gateway for European companies looking to establish bases in Africa, says of Trade and Industry Minister Rob Davies, following the return of the business delegation that accompanied President Jacob Zuma on his recent visit to that country.
UN funding for African 'green' projects
The UN Environment Programme has partnered with South Africa's Standard Bank and Germany's International Climate Initiative to develop a new carbon project as part of the fight against climate change in Africa. The initiative has already awarded grants to three "green" projects around the continent.

Wilderness Safaris set for JSE listing
Conservation tourism company Wilderness Safaris has launched a public offering in Botswana and South Africa, to be followed by a primary listing on the Botswana Stock Exchange and a simultaneous secondary listing on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange's Africa Board.
