SADC launches free trade area

Timbuktu Manuscripts on show
"Timbuktu: script and scholarship", an exhibition of around 40 ancient manuscripts from the collection of Mali's Ahmed Baba Institute, has opened in Cape Town. The exhibition will travel to all South Africa's major centres, marking the first time these priceless, delicate manuscripts have left the windy sands of Mali.
